FYI we've been talking to Open Data Euskadi, who are interested in having
the contents of their catalogue listed in PublicData.eu. More details
below...

Hello everybody.

Alex Lara (in CC) has written these answers:

1) Have you thought about using DCat for the RDF form? Our indexer is
largely based on this convention and although one could write a converter,
it'd of course be even easier if DCat was offered at the source.

No, we have not considered DCat vocabulary, but it seems the way we have to
go to publish our catalog in a more catalog-specific RDF vocabulary

Although we offer our catalog in RDF format it's not DCat. We're going to
start analyzing the conversion of our catalog RDF format to DCat-RDF
vocabulary; it seems lot more appropriate

2) Is there a machine-readable listing of all datasets available anywhere?

Is there a feed that can be read without a limit or a machine-readable
search result page?

You can use our catalog in multiple ways:

      User readable:

http://opendata.euskadi.net/w79-resformx/es?r01kQry=tC:euskadi;tF:opendata;tT:ds_ayudas_subvenciones,ds_contrataciones,ds_autorizaciones,ds_carnes,ds_registros,ds_inspecciones,ds_multas_sanciones,ds_arbitrajes_denuncias_reclamaciones,ds_premios_concursos,ds_procedimientos_otros,ds_anuncios_contratacion,ds_general,ds_geograficos,ds_meteorologicos,ds_recursos_turisticos,ds_recursos_linguisticos,ds_informes_estudios;m:documentLanguage.EQ.es;p:Inter

      Machine readable:

                  RDF (not a catalog-specific vocabulary):
http://opendata.euskadi.net/r01hSearchResultWar/r01hPresentationRDF.jsp?r01kLang=es&r01kQry=i:r01mpd012f978e6deb15d66697377e2ac0cf5bd5d;tC:euskadi;tF:opendata;tT:ds_ayudas_subvenciones,ds_contrataciones,ds_autorizaciones,ds_carnes,ds_registros,ds_inspecciones,ds_multas_sanciones,ds_arbitrajes_denuncias_reclamaciones,ds_premios_concursos,ds_procedimientos_otros,ds_anuncios_contratacion,ds_general,ds_geograficos,ds_meteorologicos,ds_recursos_turisticos,ds_recursos_linguisticos,ds_informes_estudios;m:documentLanguage.EQ.es;o:OpendataOrder.ASC;p:Inter;pp:r01PageSize.1000

                  RSS

                  XML
http://opendata.euskadi.net/r01hSearchResultWar/r01hPresentationXML.jsp?r01kLang=es&r01kQry=i:r01mpd012f978e6deb15d66697377e2ac0cf5bd5d;tC:euskadi;tF:opendata;tT:ds_ayudas_subvenciones,ds_contrataciones,ds_autorizaciones,ds_carnes,ds_registros,ds_inspecciones,ds_multas_sanciones,ds_arbitrajes_denuncias_reclamaciones,ds_premios_concursos,ds_procedimientos_otros,ds_anuncios_contratacion,ds_general,ds_geograficos,ds_meteorologicos,ds_recursos_turisticos,ds_recursos_linguisticos,ds_informes_estudios;m:documentLanguage.EQ.es;o:OpendataOrder.ASC;p:Inter;pp:r01PageSize.1000

                                          *       You can find information
(in Spanish) about our proprietary XML forma in
http://opendata.euskadi.net/w79-utilizar/es/contenidos/informacion/como_utilizar_datos/es_como_uti/como_utilizar.html
If you need a translation of the
documentation, we could think about something for you

Apart from the catalog, every content in euskadi.net is published in a
machine-readable format:

· Each DataSet have a descriptive card that is exposed in RDF, XML and
HTML

· Each content of euskadi.net is exposed in XML and HTML and of course
you are free to download the entire content (the HTML, images, styles,
scripts, XMLs, etc) and do what you want with it

Take a look at our meteo data for example:

http://opendata.euskadi.net/w79-resformx/es?r01kQry=tC:euskadi;tF:opendata;tT:ds_ayudas_subvenciones,ds_contrataciones,ds_autorizaciones,ds_carnes,ds_registros,ds_inspecciones,ds_multas_sanciones,ds_arbitrajes_denuncias_reclamaciones,ds_premios_concursos,ds_procedimientos_otros,ds_anuncios_contratacion,ds_general,ds_geograficos,ds_meteorologicos,ds_recursos_turisticos,ds_recursos_linguisticos,ds_informes_estudios;cO:r01e00000ff26d46232a470b8b4014f52678d969c;m:documentLanguage.EQ.es;p:Inter

if you look at the search results you can see links to the
data in RDF, XML or the entire content in a ZIP

Other example is the government procurement data, you can
access every procurement data in a search result:

http://opendata.euskadi.net/w79-resbus/es?r01kQry=tC:euskadi;tF:procedimientos_administrativos;tT:anuncio_contratacion,contratacion;m:documentLanguage.EQ.es,documentCreateDate.BETWEEN.01/01/2011,31/12/2011;p:Inter_portal,Inter;

each search result ítem shows a link to download the data
in XML format or the entire content (including the admin docs) in zip format

Hope you'll find it useful!
