It's not shut down so much as temporarily resting. Unfortunately, when
our hoster migrated the server on which semantic.ckan.net lived it did
not come back up for reasons we haven't been able to fix yet.

Furthermore, we have for a while wanted to find some collaborators
from the linked data / semantic web community who would like to help
us support it going forward (and in developing the next iteration).

Specifically: anyone out there able to host (or help us host) a
virtuoso (or possibly other RDF store) instance?
