[ckan-discuss] [ckan-dev] Remove public display of e-mail addresses

Glad we're hiding it. It is completely unlike github, in fact. Github
does not display ANY personal info, name or e-mail, that was supplied
to sign up. Eg here is my github page: https://github.com/mwainwright.
I signed up with a name and e-mail - neither are shown. You must
EXPLICITLY put your personal info on your 'Public profile' for it to
show up there.

I believe what we have been doing is straightforwardly illegal - it's
a bit of a concern that as an organisation concerned with data we seem
so clueless about our responsibility under data laws. Do we have a
named Data Protection Officer?
