I like all the described changes to the Store plugin. The only thing 
that I mentioned before is to just make sure that functionality in the 
scope of the annotator (Range.sniff) can also be executed by any 
overrides. Obviously this is a little hard to test without a specific 
use case, so whenever the next major release happens and I go through 
upgrades, I'll likely tackle it.
