[annotator-dev] Help regarding the store plugin

Hi, i am planning to use the OKFN technology for my Gsoc project Prototyping
inline comments<http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/User:Rjain/Proposal-Prototyping-inline-comments>.
I have a doubt regarding its store plugin. Does it allow to store the
annotations in our own database or you need to use some external services
like http://annotateit.org/ ? If its possible to store the values as JSON,
i need some help regarding this or some links which can make these things
clear to me.
