Hi everyone,

Due to the lack of support for the W3C Range specification, IE 6-8
aren't natively supported by the Annotator.

That said, Annotator should automatically pull in IERange [1] if it
detects a DOM without support for W3C Range [2] so if that's not working
for you, I'd be interested to see the error and
have a discussion about getting it working on the `annotator-dev`
mailing list (in CC here) [3].

I'll be honest, I don't regularly test Annotator support in IE8 but
provided that IERange works as advertised it shouldn't be too hard to
get it working.
