[annotator-dev] AnnotateIt.org SSL?

Thanks for looking into this. More noodling…
I think it's totally worthwhile to support SSL if you intend for a broad community to integrate directly with annotateIt.org as a reliable, long-term annotation store. But if it's mostly meant to demonstrate the annotator library and annotator-store reference implementation with the expectation that "real applications" will set up and run their own annotator-store then it might not be worth it. Ya know?
I guess it depends on which role you see AnnotateIt.org playing in that larger picture.
