Applications to attend OpenCon 2015 in Brussels, Belgium on November 14-16
are officially open! You can apply now at www.opencon2015.org/attend

The application form includes the option to request a full travel
scholarship, which will be awarded to most participants who require them to
attend.

Applications will remain open for 3 weeks—until 23:59 EDT on June 22nd.
However, we strongly encourage you to apply early

Acceptance decisions will begin to be made immediately, and if you will
need a visa, an early acceptance decision gives you more time for visa
processing.

Featuring a program of keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, and
hackathons, participants will build skills in key areas, network with
diverse attendees from dozens of nations around the world, and engage with
leading speakers. Already confirmed keynote speakers include Patrick Brown
and Micheal Eisen, co-founders of the Public Library of Science (PLOS).
OpenCon alumni will emerge as powerful catalysts supported by a global
network to advance Open Access, Open Data and Open Education.

We need your help to raise awareness about OpenCon 2015, and to recruit as
many people as possible to join our fight for Open Access, Open Education
and Open Data. You can do this in a few ways:
