[ckan-dev] URIs in log messages - overenthusiastic validator?

I just repaired the contact information in

http://ckan.net/package/postal-codes-de

it doens't make sense to put an http:// URL in an email
field. This poses a particular problem when transforming
the data into RDF.

However when I tried to explain in the log message what
I had done and why, it complained to me that URIs weren't
allowed (I had pasted in the old value). Is there any
reason for this? It seems quite valid and innocuous, even
useful to do this.
