First of all, well done Anna for such a great job!

I strongly disagree with this. Manual installation is the lowest
common denominator and should be always available. I had to install
ckan on windows 7 a while ago! We can put all sort of warning signs,
but I think it should be available.

What about production deployment? Can't we elaborate on this one, at
least with apache + mod_wsgi?

Of course, loading data will be a different issue each time, but maybe
we could add a couple of examples of the most frequent cases (load via
script from csv or using the API)
