I like the arrow, but it looks like it's pointing to the date.

I think if you highlight the fields with changed values in green (as
you've done -- but it should apply to all the changed fields including
the currently active one), and *also* the current revision in the same
colour, perhaps with a kind of bracket extending out (see crappy
attempt in attachment) it should be obvious enough that you don't need
the date.

I would reword "use this value" to "copy value to field" or similar,
so it's clear what the arrow is pointing to (i.e. the field).
