[ckan-dev] Solr Search

I'm having difficulty setting up solr on my server. I did a source install
on a local virtual box which is working correctly. I followed same steps on
a clean VPS. I can get solr but it is not communicating with CKAN. Is there
a difference between localhost install and on a server?
