[ckan-dev] Tracking used version on development sites

Hi,

After a "When was beta last updated?" question too much, I've written
a small extension to display the current head and branch a CKAN
instance is running on.

See it in action here, under "Powered by CKAN" on the footer:

This is intended for ongoing development sites, but somebody may find
it helpful. Sources are here, although be aware that it is *very*
