[ckan-dev] Resource link to FTP

I am trying to link a resource to an anonymous FTP URL (ex.
ftp://host/directory) but when the resource is saved it changes it back to
HTTP as follows: http://ftp://host/directory).  Is it intentionally forcing
everything to be HTTP or is this a bug?

The resource is for almost a terabyte of aerial imagery in multiple files
so FTP makes much more sense that HTTP in this case.
