[ckan-dev] /api/3/rest/dataset etc. - why is it no longer there?

Huh? Calls to /api/rest/* should still be working. Did you forget to put
/api/ at the start?

The rest api (i.e. the 'model' api) and the search and util apis _are_
being deprecated for ckan 2.0, they're being replaced by the action api,
but they'll remain supported for backwards-compatibility, it's really
only a documentation change (that is currently a work-in-progress for
the ckan 2.0 docs).

Note that for a while now new ckan features have been added to the
action api only and not always to the rest/search/util apis, so I
recommend using the action api, even with ckan 1.8.
