I'm not sure whether I have understood your question but I assume that you are asking whether it is possible to export (dumb) the database and import the dump into another database. 

Yes, since the datastore database is a postgres database with tables for each resource, you can easily do that. See http://www.postgresql.org/docs/9.2/static/backup-dump.html for more details.
