[ckan-dev] Postgres/ckan/datastore connection error

Hi all,

I currently have a CKAN 2.0 from package install up and running with the
datastore working. Everything is working fine except one odd error.

When I make changes to datasets and datastore resources via the API it
affects the postgres - ckan connection. I am getting these errors from time
to time:

2013-06-02 11:25:06 CEST LOG:  could not receive data from client:
Connection reset by peer
2013-06-02 11:25:06 CEST LOG:  unexpected EOF on client connection

I have a two-proxy setup due to university firewall and the VB server.
The outer apache log shows a timeout to the inner apache/CKAN server. The
error is only logged in the postgres logs at the 'inner' server.

>From investigating (google) the error on postgres, it can either be a
network issue, which I initially suspected but I am unable to find
anything, or an issue around the postgres connection being terminated
without closing the connection properly from the client, in this case ckan.
I have only seen this when working on the datastore.

Have anyone else experienced errors in connections to postgres from ckan?
