[ckan-dev] ckan password protect solr admin page

Has anyone had any luck password protecting the solr admin page?

http://(ckan-server):8983/solr/admin

I am running the latest CKAN on Ubuntu 12.04.
I have followed the docs at http://wiki.apache.org/solr/SolrSecurity#Path_Based_Authentication

I still get the admin page working fine, but it still doesn't ask for a password.

Files I have edited so far are in the /etc/jetty.
/etc/jetty/webdefault.xml
/etc/jetty/realm.properties

The default /etc/jetty/jetty.xml seems to be correct for the Configure Authentication Realms, so this file I did not edit.
