[ckan-dev] Problems with Markdown support in CKAN content

Hi,

I am having problems inserting raw HTML into the content of pages to  
be added within the GUI, like under /ckan-admin/config -> "About:".

According to the Markdown formatting doc linked from the CKAN GUI  
(http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/syntax) it should be  
possible to add images using <img> tag. But that does not work for me.

Does CKAN fully support all Markdown features?
Is there anybody having success e.g. adding <img> tags?
