[ckan-dev] Any ready to download VMs available?

Hi all,
we're developing an installer script based on fabric which installs CKAN with dependencies (postgres, solr, plus tomcat, virtualenv, apache) into a Ubuntu 12.04 VM. We'll plan to publish the script under an open license within the next month - would there be any interest to beta-test?

I haven't heard of specific virtual machine images. Images get out of date quickly unless actively maintained and require a large amount of space.

Someone asked me to help setup some virtual boxes for others to re-use... I would gladly oblige - but as I started planning this in my head, I want to do some extra steps like "lighten up" ubuntu and remove things or modules not used by ckan.





Before going into this, thought i'd stop and ask for things maybe officially made by the team or previously by any of you guys.
