[ckan-dev] SOLR versions: is 1.4.1 the most recent supported version for CKAN?

Hi All,

This page:
https://github.com/ckan/ckan/wiki/How-to-install-CKAN-2.0-on-CentOS-6.3-%28new%29

says "CKAN can not use the latest version of Apache SOLR and requires
version 1.4.1."

But I can't find a similar statement on the regular install from source
page:
http://docs.ckan.org/en/latest/install-from-source.html

and I note that SOLR is up to version 4.6.1 on the lucene site.

Is anyone able to tell me if there is currently still a restriction on the
SOLR version that is compatible with CKAN or s the above restriction to
1.4.1 just out of date docco?
