Dear Nigel and Team,

Hi Nigel, I keep getting this error whenever i try to start the jetty server.

* Could not start Jetty servlet engine because no Java Development Kit
 * (JDK) was found. Please download and install JDK 1.4 or higher and set
 * JAVA_HOME in /etc/default/jetty to the JDK's installation directory.

I have followed all the steps as shown here: http://docs.ckan.org/en/latest/maintaining/installing/install-from-source.html#setting-up-solr

to set up the solar but still I get this error. Am sure java is running. I confirmed that here: "java version "1.6.0_27"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.12.6) (6b27-1.12.6-1ubuntu0.12.04.4)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.0-b12, mixed mode)
"
Kindly advice.

Collins

Hi Collins :)

This means that your SOLR server isn't running.
