Hello Reinier,

FYI, i have been working on a fork to support multiple geo media types :
https://github.com/pduchesne/ckanext-spatial
See it in action here: http://portal.openbelgium.be/dataset/geospatial-test
(be patient maybe, the server currently suffers from some overload)

I'd be very interested in integrating your work on geonode with it.
Is your code available?
