[ckan-dev] wild card search works not as expected

Thanks for the answer, Nigel.
But I still don't understand the response from CKAN search.
To be shure, I submit as well corresponding SOLR requests, and get the 
same curious results :

title:europe in the CKAN UI search field or
http://b2find.eudat.eu:8983/solr/select/?wt=json&indent=on&q=title:europe&wt=json&fl=id,name
finds 126 datasets

while
title:europ? in the CKAN UI search field or
http://b2find.eudat.eu:8983/solr/select/?wt=json&indent=on&q=title:europ?&wt=json&fl=id,name
finds 31 datasets
(e.g. title="europe" and ="europe central" are NOT found here !?)

Maybe I misunderstand SOLR search with wildcards completely, but I would 
expect more (or at least equal) number of
returned records for 'europ?' than for 'europe'.
