[ckan-dev] ckan 2.2 source upgrade issue

Hi All,
I have done a source upgrade to CKAN 2.2  (from 2.1) on a different development machine and did had any issues. Today I tried to do the same on a different dev machine and I am getting the error when I ran the following command:
python setup.py develop
error: Namespace package problem: ckanext.stats is a namespace package, but its __init__.py does not call declare_namespace()! Please fix it. 
Would appreciate any help on resolving this.
