[ckan-dev] CKAN API Documentation in other Languages?

Hi,

there are plans in Berlin to encourage the various administration IT departments to interact with the city’s CKAN-based data portal via the CKAN-API (for bulk upload of datasets, synchronisation with the data portal, etc.). Having the API documentation (or at least parts of it) available in German would probably help with this.

So, my questions:

- Have translations of the docs into other languages been done? I couldn’t find any examples.
- If we were to do this, what would be the best way to go about it: 
	- Should we clone the CKAN repo and add our translations to it somewhere? 
	- Or should we roll our own project?
