[ckan-dev] Upgrading multiple versions at once?

I am running 2.1.1 in production and am starting to plan our upgrade path.  From reading the documentation it is unclear to me if I can go directly from my version to 2.3 in one jump, of if I need to apply each upgrade in turn.  Do the db and solr changes get rolled together cumulatively?
