Thank you very much for your reply to my request for assistance.

Yes, it does appear that my Solr instance is not picking up the schema file.

I'm not committed to using Solr 6.x, but I would like to use the most recent version that is known to work with the schema.xml file provided by CKAN.  I'm trying to set up CKAN 2.5.2.

Can you recommend to me the latest known version of Solr that will work with the schema.xml file provided by CKAN?
