[ckan-dev] assigning groups to datasets

Hi,

in our CKAN (2.4) I would like to implement the following behaviour for
assigning groups to datasets:

a.) every logged_in user can assign any group to a dataset
b.) a user can only assign a group to a dataset if they can update it

I can achieve a.) by making all users members of all groups. However, this
seems to imply that a user can then assign a group to any dataset, not just
the ones they are allowed to update. So, how would I achieve b.)? I have
looked into authorization functions, but that does not seem to help, since
there is no corresponding action function that assigns a group to a dataset.

Could anyone point me in the right direction?
