[ckan-dev] ckanext geoview - wfs preview

Hello folks,
a few comments here :
first, I think having a WFS preview makes, if only because CKAN is meant to
preview open data as it is, and a lot of data is exposed through WFS. So
it's a way to test the data access as it is meant to be. Also, it allows
styling on the client side (not sure i've pushed that in ckan master
already, but now you can set an openlayer style descriptor per WFS
resource).
As for the performance issue, be aware that the WFS previewer in CKAN is by
default limited to max 300 features.
Regarding your problem Pedro, if you can point me at your WFS, i'll give it
a try and see what's wrong.
Matt, regarding geoview#25, as I answered on github, i no longer can use
the service, so I can"t test it, but it should work now.
Finally, one extra feature you may be interested in : you can define a
resource on a single feature type by appending #FEATURE_TYPE_NAME to the
wfs URL. Same for WMS.
thank you for the feedback,
--p.
