[ckan-dev] The showcase extension

Hello everyone,

I have a more general question about the *showcase* extension: is this
extension going to be maintained going forward ?

I am asking because we're in the process of upgrading to 2.6 and migrating
the related items to showcases. I was looking now on the github page of the
extension <https://github.com/ckan/ckanext-showcase/commits/master> and the
latest commit is from about one year ago. Also, the latest tag/version
(1.0.2) is older than that and does not contain fixes that make it
compatible with CKAN >= 2.5.

I guess I'm looking for advise on whether it's a good idea to switch to
this.
