Hi.
Check out extensions.ckan.org for a list of many hundreds of 'external' extensions. The core extensions are optional and enabled by adding the extension name in the plugins section of the configuration file. Best thing is to look at some of the external extensions which generally come with instructions on how to install.
Good luck

Subject: [ckan-dev] Newbie: CKAN extensions
Hi
The CKAN documentation talks about 'core' extensions and 'external' extensions.
It says some core ones are enabled and others are not.
Next it tells you how to write an extension.
Where does it describe:
1) how to list the installed extensions
2) how to enable/disable extensions
3) how to install new extensions
4) how to configure extensions
?
Thanks
