[ckan-dev] "deleted package" activities in `recently_changed_packages_activity_list`

Hello everyone,

For a previous project we utilised the
`/api/3/action/recently_changed_packages_activity_list` API endpoint to
identify "deleted package" activities on a secondary CKAN site and take an
appropriate action.

I'm now working on a CKAN 2.7.5 site and noticed today that after deleting
a dataset through the UI, no activity was reported in the
`recently_changed_packages_activity_list`.

Is this normal behaviour? Perhaps something has changed?

I've been hunting through the code to find where the activity is created
when deleting a package - closest I've gotten to at the moment is the
`activity_stream_item` method in `model/package.py`, but not sure if I'm on
the right track here.

Any help greatly appreciated.
