[ckan-dev] Previewer with semicolon separated CSVs?

Hi Christoph

this has been an issue for quite some time (see
https://github.com/ckan/ckan/issues/1296) and the current consensus seems
to be to use the DataStore with DataPusher or XLoader, since these
components support semicolons and are maintained by the CKAN community.
Unfortunately if you have a standard installation of CKAN, it will
automatically use the legacy JSON proxy, which only handles truly
comma-separated values. Iirc there was a discussion about finally getting
rid of the json proxy, but I can't find it right now.

By using the DataStore and xloader you get previews, that are backed by
your own infrastructure and as a bonus an querable API to the data.

I'd say it's worth the effort and we use this approach for both
opendata.swiss and data.stadt-zuerich.chm where it works fine.
