Hi all, 

this was mentioned on ePSIplatform yesterday: the EU has published a tender for an EU-level INSPIRE portal: 

http://www.epsiplatform.eu/news/news/tender_for_eu_geo_portal

I'm a bit unsure about the progress in geo-aware CKAN, but we'll have to implement this anyway. So this sounds like something we should at least apply to!
