[ckan-discuss] CKAN on Windows

I spent a couple of days getting CKAN (i.e. the web application)
running on Microsoft Windows. I only had trouble with three
dependencies, so installed suitable binaries for these instead.

This complements the installs we've seen on a wide range of Linux
distributions and Mac OSX.

So even though we plough our main effort into an easy package for
Ubuntu 9.04 (Long-Term Stable), those that are happy to do the source
install can run CKAN on nearly any platform that runs Python!
