[ckan-discuss] OpenDataNetwork.it: CKAN and GeoNetwork at work

Dear All,
I just wanted to share with you this work that's been released these
days, it's a simple Open Data federation
heavily relying on CKAN for its objectives.
It is worth to point out that it focuses mostly on geospatial data
although the goal was to give PAs in the Region of Tuscany
the possibility to have a single solution for sharing geospatial as
well as statistical Open Data. In particular
we connected CKAN to GeoNetwork in harvesting mode as GeoNetwork is in
use in most PA for geospatial metadata
editing and dissemination.
