[ckan-discuss] CSV files vs tab delimited text

Hi,
I was demonstrating CKAN to someone the other day, and showing them how for a CSV file you can preview the data, draw graphs (and map if spatial data). This is a really nice feature of CKAN.

The person raised the question of commas (',') in a dataset and suggested that using tab delimited text files can get around that issue.

So, could the preview be adapted to cope with tab delimited text? How have other people dealt with ',' in the data?

Thanks
Aaron
