[ckan-discuss] Registering Microsoft SQL Server Resources

I am exploring the use of CKAN within an corporate environment. I would like to add a CKAN record for a Microsoft SQL Server Database. It seems that this might best fit as a Resource of a Dataset. However, the Resource record requires either a file or a URL. It does not appear to accommodate a database connection string.

What would be the best way to include a reference to a database within CKAN?
