[CKAN-support] building a case for client to upgrade

Hi Support
I have a request from New South Wales (data.nsw.gov.au) on what the advantages are on upgrading CKAN 2.0 to a newer version (inc. security updates). They just want from reasons to make the justification for spending the $ I presume.

We're also in the process of trying to get them on board with us for ongoing CKAN support and change to using us for hosting so I'm keen to make a good case for them.

Here's what I have to start with to build a case so if you have anything to add then I'd appreciate it...

-          Patch updates e.g. 2.0.1, 2.0.2 etc include bug fixes, and security updates and are an important part of any software package

-          New and improved previewing tools e.g.

-          API improvements

-          More plugin tools to aid the development of custom ckan extensions

-          Better UI e.g. 2.1. introduces a clearer dashboard with more information
