Hi Adria,

See below ticket we raised about pushing a package to the Registry - we seem to have this a few times recently. Is this also linked to the purge issue I encountered?

Thanks

Steven

Hello Steven

Looks like there's some cache issue with registry. I tried manual curl API call using evc-activities1, it worked. With evc-activities, it was saying "url already in use". For now the dataset appears there but it doesn't reflect in the aidstream as the call was done outside aidstream. And the issue is also not with aidstream. Lately i think we are getting some caching issues with registry.

Hi Anjesh

Many thanks for the support

I've changed to unsegmented, and generated an associated file in Aidstream. In Aidstream Ive also deleted the two other files - and the one on the Registry. I cant seem to push the new file to the Registry though, but perhaps you can?

BTW - this came from me updating the reporting-org reference and applying the updates. We might want to review the workflow around this

Thanks

Steven

Hi Steven,

I did the manual API call via curl for both the files.

For http://aidstream.org/files/xml/evc-tz.xml file, i managed to make successful call http://iatiregistry.org/publisher/activity/evc
but it doesn't show in the dataset page, but only in the stream page http://iatiregistry.org/publisher/activity/evc
But evc user page shows the dataset http://iatiregistry.org/user/evcadmin

However for another file http://aidstream.org/files/xml/evc-kh.xml, i get "url already in use". {"help": null, "success": false, "error": {"__type": "Validation Error", "name": ["That URL is already in use."]}}, whereas the url is not in use in the registry for evc, atleast under evc.
I guess that's the name conflict message that we see in the aidstream message. Looks like there's cache issue at the registry side.

Can you delete the dataset that i have manually uploaded, do you think we should change to "unsegmented" and do the publishing from the registry.

Best
Anjesh.

Hi Anjesh

I updated the files for this org: http://iatiregistry.org/publisher/evc - but got a conflict on the file names. I then deleted the Registry files, and now have a AidStream conflict on the Registry name (it was set as EvC - I changed it to evc)

Please help reinstate the files, if you can

Thanks

Steven
