Thanks for your prompt response. We have a mandate to upload an all-important data by Monday, 7th July 2014 . So, if this problem can be resolved before 12 noon that day, we would be very happy.

Hi Ambrose,

I talked to Nkechi on Skype today and learned that this is not the first time you've run into this problem. I would recommend upgrading solr and switching it to use tomcat. Can we schedule some downtime for 3 hours next week so I can get this done?

Please let me know of a suitable time and if you're happy for me to do this.

Hi Ambrose,

Thank you for getting in touch. We've seen this error in the past with our other sites and it's either Jetty or Solr bug to blame (it's been very hard to narrow down). I'm going to restart the Jetty server which usually fixes this for small ckan instances. If you notice this error again, please let me know. We will need to work on switching solr to running with a Tomcat server.

Hi,

We have been getting an error, every time we try to upload data ( irrespective of the format) to the data portal at data.edostate.gov.ng. I have attached a screen shot of the error page. Please, help us resolve as ASAP.
