[datacatalogs] [ckan-discuss] [open-government] New Open Government Platform code released

Thanks Ed.

Just to reiterate, we'd *love* to be in touch with the new US team, to
talk about data catalogue interoperability. We're in the process of
organising another meeting along the lines of the one we had in
Edinburgh earlier this year [1] - and it would be good if someone from
the US team could make it!

The main thing is that we have an open source, interoperable ecosystem
of technologies for working with datasets. In particular it would be
good to talk about metadata standards, and harvesting mechanisms - and
to figure out how data catalogues running on different pieces of
software can talk to each other.

Jeanne: perhaps you could forward on this invitation, or suggest who
the best person for us to contact would be?
