Dear all,

I thought you might be interested inThe *Bastards Book of Ruby,* an
introduction to programming for non-programmers written by ProPublica's Dan
Nguyen. The online book focuses on the use of programming for the
gathering, organising and analysing of data in all its form, and includes a
lot of examples and applications.

You can read more about it here:
http://datadrivenjournalism.net/resources/the_bastards_book_of_ruby

It's work in progress and the author (in cc) would appreciate feedback on
it ;)

Best,

Liliana
