[ddj] Anyone know successful examples of business models for data journalism?

You might want to look at http://seeclickfix.com/ which has a really
interesting, very-hybrid data journalism business model:

They sell data and branded apps to cities and media organizations.

We've been trying to build a similar business at MuckRock.com, but I
think they've successfully done it in a very scalable way - though one
that isn't immediately apparent as "journalism" to everyone.
