Dear all,

The Stanford University School of Engineering offers a free online
course "Introduction to Databases" from October 10 through December 12. The
instructor will be available for online discussions. The course does not
assume prior knowledge of any specific topics, however a reasonable amount
of programming, as well as knowledge of basic computer science theory will
make the material more accessible.

To sign up for the course and get more information check this
page<http://db-class.org/>
.

Nicola Hughes of ScraperWiki (in cc) is interested in creating a study group
for this course. If anyone is interested to join her please reply to this
email.

Best,

Liliana
