Hello everyone,

Plaza Pública is a online newspaper from Guatemala which is starting to
work with data. They are starting to use different sorts of data such as
network, GIS, statistical and discourse. They are creating interesting
analysis. The first incursion into data journalism has been the
construction of an interactive map of the Guatemalan Congress, which is
meant to provide basic information to readers on the different aspects of
congressmen and women such as voting, district, etc. This is the link
http://www.plazapublica.com.gt/content/el-congreso-en-datos There is also
in dept analysis for the more advance reader, this is an example of such
analysis
http://plazapublica.com.gt/content/anatomia-del-poder-femenino-en-el-congresoThis
newspaper is published in Spanish, there is very little information
written in English. Hope you find this information useful.
