I hope you are all doing well :-) I just wanted to let you know two things:

1. Al Jazeera is currently looking for an investigative data journalist to
join their team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

   - Producing and preparing mass data-supported online investigative
   stories in the most ethical, factual, and appealing manner, embodying Al
   Jazeera’s mission.
   - Contributing strong mass data-supported investigative story pitches
   and developing appropriate visualization strategies that assist and support
   broadcast elements.

2. The European Journalism Centre is proud to announce that it has received
funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for a journalism grants
program that focuses on innovative reporting on issues related to
development. Applicants may apply for a minimum grant of EUR 8,000 and we
expect the average grant given to be about EUR 20,000. *Data projects and
