I got to that URL by googling the original, paywalled URL and clicking
on the provided link. Since most paywalled news sites don't want to
block traffic from Google, that usually works.

In this special case, it would have been enough to just disable CSS and
go from there, e.g. to get to the URL of the embedded map:
