Hello everyone,

For those of you who might be interested, the McGraw-Hill Data Journalism
Program, led by ICFJ, is coming up and applications are currently open.

The program will give journalists reporting for minority and other
underserved populations a variety of data journalism tools and techniques,
including how to mine economic and financial databases. During training on
ICFJ’s digital training platform journalists can take a *course on finding,
interpreting, visualizing, and reporting on this data*.

The course will be taught in both English and Spanish. The course in its
entirety takes place from October 7, 2013 to January 26, 2014 and includes
a three-day reporting field trip to New York City.
